Founder and executive director of Run-Bangla International LLC, (RBI) an online running community site serving to connect Bangladesh running enthusiasts nationally and internationally; introduce international sanctioning standards for distance road races throughout Bangladesh; promote internationally accepted best practices for race organizers; and also serve as an aggregator of all running races within the country on a centralized calendar.

Jon grew up in England, France, Greece and Spain before returning to the United States, eventually completing his studies with a degree in Architecture.

He has participated in over 100 organized distance races throughout the world including several marathons and remains a committed runner. He brings to RBI an association with AIMS, a leading internationally esteemed sanctioning organization for distance races worldwide. Jon also serves as Director for the Run-Bangla-CCCL International 10K Hatirjheel, Dhaka; which will proudly become the first internationally sanctioned AIMS-IAAF distance running event in Bangladesh on March 13th, 2020.

One of the pivotal agents of change in the marketing industry of Bangladesh. Mehedi has been a key Run-Bangla International LLC (RBI) partner since its creation in early 2019. Currently, he is the Country Director & Managing Partner of World Marketing Community in Bangladesh.

Mehedi completed his degree in Applied Physics, Electronics & Communication Engineering from the University
of Dhaka, followed by his Master’s in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Mehedi additionally brings his business acumen and organizational strengths to RBI. Mehedi has been involved in athletics throughout his life and is a recent and dedicated convert to distance running. Mehedi also serves as a Director for the Run-Bangla-CCCL International 10K Hatirjheel, Dhaka.

Paolo brings an expertise in Branding and Advertising and a strong background in event creation and promotion. Paolo has been a pivotal Run-Bangla International LLC (RBI) partner and co-founder since its early inception in 2017. Paolo’s skill set is founded on his strong design background as an architect in New York City since 1988. He has designed and promoted products and events for several Fortune 500 companies. In addition Paolo has a lifelong passion for athletics including running and football and has coached elite children’s running teams in the United States. Paolo also serves as a Director for the Run-Bangla-CCCL International 10K Hatirjheel, Dhaka.

Rajib was recently recognized and honored by being selected in 2023 as the AIMS Ambassador to Bangladesh, one of only five such ambassadorships in the world. Rajib is a passionate Marathon and Ultra-Marathon runner who has represented Bangladesh in many international races including TMBT Malaysia 2019 Ultra Trail Marathon; Nepal Stupa to Stupa Ultra Trail Marathon 2018; Tata Mumbai Marathon 2019/2020; Ladakh Marathon 2019, among many others domestically as well. As a longtime active member BDRunners, Rajib has been very involved with the growth on Bangladesh running, including the creation of several domestic races since 2017. In 2020 Rajib became the race director for the first ever AIMS certified race in Bangladesh, CCCL-RUNBANGLA International 10K, soon after assuming the position at RBI as Director of Races. Rajib’s strengths, founded on his passion for running, are the creation and promotion of races and inclusively connecting these events to all runners, local charities and the expanding running community.
