CHILDREN:
RBI is proud to introduce a first for Bangladesh, a special category of participants in our upcoming race. “Children” category. We have witnessed the presence of children as spectators during many large running events as they come to cheer for their parents, older adult siblings and friends. Until now they could only witness the celebration of the running festival. RBI recognizes that children form healthy life habits early on and so we are creating a space for them to participate as runners on race day. RBI has dedicated a 1 km run category specially designed for children below 12 years of age. The cut off time shall be 60 minutes. Your little ones can participate in this category too. How? Our CHILDREN will be allowed to complete their desired 1 km distance in stages within the race dates- from 0600 hrs of 26th March 2021 through 1700 hrs of 28th March 2021. In total, they will have to complete their run within 1 hour. Participants can record their times through our recommended apps and share with RBI after the race ends. We want to see your kids’ smile wearing their race tee and the participant medal. RBI plans to make this category a part of all our future events.
